Jet-Skiing

The Jet Ski is capable of reaching very high speeds and thus it is advisable that you go along with an instructor if you are trying this for the first time. The machine is very easy to operate but the high speed may be a bit difficult to control for a while. Once you have mastered to maneuver the ski according to the ocean waves and the speed, you can have a jolly experience skiing around. A particular area in the ocean is marked for jet skiing where it is safe and one is advised not to cross the demarcation. Jet skiing is one of the most popular water sports in Goa and many beaches have the facility to provide this sport. These beaches include Aguada Beach, Colva Beach, Candolim Beach, Calangute Beach, Miramar Beach and Benaulim Beach. A nominal rate is charged for this sport and after dressing up in a proper suit and heading the instructor's advice; you are ready to zip around on a jet ski. Do not ignore the advice and try not to get carried away by the high speed and excitement.

Water-Skiing

Skiing on water does sound a different. A little new to the adventure sports arena of India, water skiing is a lot more thrilling from snow skiing. The first major factor is that there’s no snow or mountainous slopes instead one glides on water. Secondly, you need to be good swimmer because you never know when you have to let go off the tow-rope attached to the boat.Splashing through the watery depths isn’t new for those who love to glide through waves. There’s a good similarity between surfing and water skiing but the major difference is that here your hands aren’t free. While surfing take places in the high tides of the ocean, water skiing is not restricted to sea only; it can be done in lakes too.

Speed Boats

Speed boats are famous all over the world for giving spine chilling experiences. The speed and the wind blowing against one's face is enough to revive you. There are a lot of motorboats in Goa that have a speed of 10 to 15 miles per hour and few with a speed of 30 to 40 miles per hour. Cidade, Oberoi and the Taj hotels provide high powered boats which give a thrilling experience. These speed boats can carry six to eight people at a time and can be used as a transportation medium. One can go for long rides or just a spin around the bay on these speed boats. Old Goa, Fort Aguda, Sinquerim, St. Jacinto Island and Grant Island and many more exciting destinations can be visited by these speed boats. The speed boats can also be used for water skiing.
